Summer Cabin Project ~ Windows

So what did you do this summer?  We spent yet another summer at the property working on building a home. A cabin fit for a giant, a king!  After all every man is king of his own castle.

We started out the summer putting the roof tin on the cabin.  If you missed that post check it out here.

Next up was putting in the windows! There are five windows total on the cabin and as you can see it was lightly raining the day we installed them.

First the kitchen window hole was cut out. We started with the easiest window to make sure we knew what we were doing.

Next up was the large picture window at the front of the cabin, the one with the beautiful southerly view .

Next up the window that looks east and is towards the driveway.  This one was scariest on account of the guy on the outside having to be on a tall ladder on uneven ground.

Window suction cup thingies ~ best invention ever!

Fourth in line the upstairs loft bedroom window.

Last but not least as they say ~ the picture window in the loft that also has a southerly view.

Five windows in four hours! Go team us!
