Words

In the day when words meant more than moving pictures, words could warm; they comfort and console the spirit.  Words could carry with them joy or be filled with languished love.  Beating all the heart can utter.  Words could bring with them the bitter tears of sadness and grief breathing the last breath of air we take.

Words that lament and weep, words filled with delight and bliss.

Words in the morning fill my day with sunshine and close my day in clarity and wisdom.

May your heart be filled with cheer and joy.  Share the words of love.

Warm Winter Wishes

Time for a long winter nap snuggled deep in the covers while the dark cold world outside drifts along.  Time to dream of warm sandy beaches surrounded by salty waves.

May good company, good food and
laughter fill your days with joy.

Parking Lot Feast

Ravens hang out in the parking lots and scavenge for food in discarded containers.
Average sight for us, these birds are fun to watch.
Photos taken with my small camera next time I will carry the big guns and get some better shots.

Sun Dogs and Clear Cold Skys

The cold weather has moved in and life in Fairbanks is back to a normal winter, which it can be comforting to have normalcy albeit the below zero weather does makes my toes cold just thinking about having to go outside.  The midday sunshine has been great and my office is bright making up for the fact that the sun sets at 3:00 p.m.

Enjoy the beginning of the holiday season, may your heart be filled with love &  joy.

Reason

Can a higher calling or stronger purpose in the dark be found?  Can we see something other than the infinite darkness in the abyss when we look out our windows?  Is the light of the waning moon enough to guide our way?

Don't let the cold that seeps into the window reach your heart.  Winter can chill our world but don't let it discourage your heart.  The darkness will lift and your raison d'etre will be renewed.
