For Laurin

This building sits where the old one you lived in use to be.
Where the Captain Bartlett use to be.
Well I guess you could say that the place has changed some.

Does?

Does anger displace the fear? Does love displace the anger and replace the fear with something you can live with? Does the warmth of a pile fill your heart with a sense of belonging? Does love fill the void?

Humor

A bit of humor can make any task more enjoyable and easy.
Especially if the work is manual labor.  Let's hope our humor can hold out  to the end of each days hard work.

P.S. Food always helps the humor hold out!

In the youngest case... food... lots of food!

I Knew it was HOT!!!

Yesterday we set a temperature record and we were in the heat working up at the property.  I knew it was hot but I did not know it was 91 degrees Fahrenheit ~ we were most likely hotter than that in the direct sun at the property.  Don't tell the boys I made them work in such heat.

Local news article about yesterdays temperatures.

Holy Cow!!! No wonder I am enjoying my desk job today!

Fire

When you do not know what will or will not catch fire, you do not know where you stand.

Will the heart ignite?

Will the skin be engulfed with passion?

Will the romance catch fire?

Or will a kiss bring about a beginning to the end?

A romance of a life never lived.
