The Hanapepe Swinging Bridge was closed when we stopped by for a sightseeing visit. The amazing power of water and large trees drifting down river.
A sight in paradise not every tourist sees or seeks out.
Bert's Auto Repair has some sweet vehicles in the front yard.
Hanapepe lays claim to being an upscale artist type village, and the for sale sticker prices on the art in the shops uphold this belief. However the rest of the village seems just as down to earth as one might think of when they envision a peaceful Kaua'i village.
Worth a visit even if the swinging bridge is temporarily out of commission.
