Matanuska Glacier on the Glenn Highway is a sight to behold but it too is shrinking in its brilliance, along with most of the glaciers in Alaska. None the less it is still a very impressive view along this drive and the visitors parking area is first class. You should know that the second photo was taken with my 300mm lens and therefore might be deceiving if you did not know that fact.
