Summer time is ride the rails time in Alaska. Get out and enjoy the view out the vestibule open windows.
P.S. my first for real paying job was as a Hostess on the Alaska Railroad summer tourist train between Fairbanks and Denali Park. Great summer memories.

One of my favorite parts on my first trips to Alaska were taking the train between Anchorage and Fairbanks. The scenery was outstanding, the information was interesting, and the party waiting for me at my destination was top notch. I want to go again. Love you. Grace
