Planted in straight rows and allowed to grow for 15 years, and with some forestry management along the way they are then harvested.
We saw one of the collection points at the shipping yards in Tauranga.
Passing these logging trucks (with the trailer behind also loaded with logs) on the skinny hilly roads of the north island was an exciting adventure all unto its own.
