Cultural history surrounds every place on this earth, and if you get a chance to visit, even a few of them your life will be vastly broadened and enlightened. The Waitangi Treaty Grounds was an afternoon well spent, and the Te Kōngahu Museum is one of the best museums we have visited.

Beautiful stone church and the carvings are amazing!
We went to the Maori cultural show too, it was fun. The young people that perform in the show did a good job of sharing a bit of the Maori history.
