11:26 am Francesca gave the low tire pressure warning so we pulled over to the side of the road by a beautiful little pond. The passenger front tire was hissing but the hole was right on top so all we had to do was put our finger on the hole and get the tire repair kit. We had purchased some new tire plugs for this trip just in case and they worked like a charm.
We got the tire plugged and attached the portable air compressor. That little thing ran like a champ and in no time the tire was up to 35 psi and holding.
11:40 am we were back on the road high five-ing our good fortune.
High five Friday for quick fixes, being prepared and having such a cool captain behind the wheel!
By the way ~ that tire is still rolling along just fine and we will replace it before winter. It is time for new tires.
