Everyone had to pull way over to the right hand side of the road to let this rig pass by with its wide load. They are most likely headed to the North slope and the terrain being steep at times they have the truck that does the pulling and two trucks behind the load to do the pushing.
This is a wonderful place to eat! A stop at Creekside is a must!
When you visit Denali National Park and have your own transportation book your lodging at Carlo Creek Lodge! They are just south of the park and well worth the 30 minute drive to be away from all the other tourists.
Clear roads and easy driving through Broad Pass. Denali (Mt. McKinley) however was clothed in clouds this trip. Beautiful drive none the less.
