The Look Back!

Are you good at the look back?

After you have visited with someone you care about do you look back as you walk away or as you are pulling the car out of the driveway?  Do you look back for another chance to wave, that last chance to share a glance and a smile for one more moment to remember?

If you have not been in the habit of partaking in the look back then it might be time to start a new tradition.

I will forever cherish the long wave good-bye.

See you later!

You bet! Two of my favorite things, the look back and the long wave are always worth while.

As long as I can remember we have cherished the look back and the long wave. Grandma and grandpa too....grandpa still waves with the tin pie plate so we can see him better...then we wait at the end of the driveway and give him time to get to the front door so he can wave again and blink the front light " Good-bye"...We dread the day when we don't have the pie wave or the blink. Grandma always had the hugs and kisses and , of course, the WAVE... We all still wave, blow a kiss and blink the lights when we part.. LOVE to our kids in AK...XOXOXOXOXOX Mom & Bob

A parting that will never fade ~ the long good-byes and the flash of the front porch light! Makes me smile and proud to be someone you call your own!
