Critical Thinking


Are you a critical thinker?

Critical thinking requires these abilities:
  • Recognize problems and find ways to address them 
  • Recognize unstated assumptions and values 
  • Comprehend and use language 
  • Gather information 
  • Interpret data, appraise evidence and evaluate arguments 
  • Recognize relationships between propositions 
  • Draw conclusions and make generalizations 
  • Test conclusions and generalizations 
  • Render judgments 
  • Reconstruct patterns of belief on the basis of experience
