March has the reputation for the weather being ~ in like a loin and out like a lamb ~ this phrase will also forever be in my heart when March rolls around each year. 

And each year I will look forward to the April showers that bring the May flowers that brighten our world and lighten our hearts.

Roller Coaster

Today has been... well a day filled with distraction.  Each day without Dad here with us I still feel that roller coaster feeling, the good side is that I no longer feel like throwing up each second of the day.  To tell you the truth I never really did like roller coaster rides and I absolutely cannot stand the thought of throwing-up let alone the actual act of doing so.

No more carnival rides, not even the merry-go-round for me, I would just like to sit on a swing in the sunshine and slowly rock back and forth.

Anyone know a good playground with a comfortable swing set to sit upon?

Sweet Letter in the Mail

Merle has always meant so much to us as well as all the other kids.  But Merle was so special to us.  He was so funny, had a sweet smile, his personality couldn’t be beat.  I can see him now and have tears in our eyes.  I know he will be missed by many and by his family.

Take care sweetheart.  I have been told that once a child of God goes to be with Jesus in that special place prepared for us that they would never want to come back.  I can see Merle smiling down at us from heaven and he is so happy.

Holding Pattern

We are currently in a holding pattern. Not over Wanjo, or Jovvo, or Yadme, or Tully or Cache. Closer to the Chena beacon if anywhere. No expect further clearance time issued. Without our navigator, we're feeling pretty lost. In the mean time all prayers are welcome, and appreciated. We miss you Merle.

FAI to ANC in a Snow Storm

Flew to Anchorage this past weekend.  When I left Fairbanks was in the middle of another snow storm ~ blizzard like conditions almost.  But we are hardy Alaskan's and the planes were flying in spit of the winds.  It was a good flight just a bit bumpy, but then again the turbulence just puts me to sleep ~ like being rocked like a baby.  Photos of Era Aviation, we flew on the Dash 8.
