For those of you who are family and are expecting a movie in the mail... here is a sneak peek at the cover! For those of you who do not fall into that category here is a look at the cover for the family DVD movie project (obsession) I have been working on for the past three months. It contains photos of the family dating back to 1901 and covering the decades to the present day.

My Mom has created this work of art for the cover ~ thanks a million Mom ~ I love it!

1927

January 29, 1927 twins were born two months premature. Walter Dean born at 11:00 a.m. weighted 2 1/2 pounds and named after their mother's brother. Dorothy Jean born at 11:30 a.m. weighted 3 1/2 pounds and named after their father's sister. They were early, they were tiny and they were kept warm in their shoe box beds by the wood stove.

Walter was born with an enlarged heart and when he was two and a half years old the measles and the whooping cough went through the house, he passed away.

Dorothy... this is our first your birthday without you here with us... we miss you... we are a bit lonely... but we are ok... we are taking good care of each other. We love you. Happy Birthday!

I have recently cut the mats and framed the photos of my Grandpa & Grandma Wink's high school graduation photos and the photo of my Grandma's parents on their wedding day. The newest editions to my family walls of smiling faces.

Cleaning the Garage

While cleaning the garage during the Christmas break look what we found... thank you Amway for the great product name.

We have also taken down the old and stupid metal shelves, put up new cabinets and a great work bench with a light. Before and after photos will be posted soon. Not to mention all the junk, stuff and crap we have jettisoned from the garage in the past week.

What a great feeling to be free from the material snippets of left over waste.
