Training

Training to run the race, training to fight the fire. Training to enter heavens gate. We spend our life in training. Very few true emergencies cross our path. Yet the sirens will sound and the fires will blaze.

That time will come when you will have to put all your training into action. Whether it is an apology for a wrong, or a struggle you need to overcome.

Sometimes this struggle is time itself.

We are left with all the time in the world. Time is eternal, ever lasting. Love follows suit and is forever. Sometimes she follows the path home to heaven before you. Bide your time; you are still needed here. Heaven for you is a few earthly days away.

Stay a while for me. Ensure I am OK. Then follow her home to heavens gate.

Grrr ~ says the wolf! They might look like they are smiling at you in this picture but what they are really doing is scaring the lonely bug away. Sometimes when we feel lonely we need a little helping hand. May these smiling wolfs help scare those lonely feelings away. Take comfort in knowing that when you are thinking of me ~ I am thinking of you too.

Leaving Behind

I will not save the world. The cure to the disease will not hold my name nor will I patent that next best thing. What I hope to leave behind is a good name. I want to be known as someone who always wore a smile. Someone who greeted you with kindness and looked out for the other fella.

A giver with a generous heart. A person who remembers the past and teaches for the future. I want to leave behind a trail of kindness. It is going to be a long trail too.

First Day of December
