Waipu Cave

We went in search of glowworms at the Waipu Cave, however we are not very practiced spelunkers, and at that moment the thought of crawling too far into the darkness made us both a bit uneasy.

We added this to the trip list because adventure sometimes means trying new things, and I would call it a win as we both entered the fairly small/large enough entrance and went in far enough to say "yup we were there'!

It's nice to have a tour guide when entering a cave who knows hls way around and where to exit. I toured a cave in Colorado. Did you see any glow worms?

This is one of the many caves around that are mostly on private land, and it is an enter on your own accord type of place. We did not go in far enough to see any glowworms, but we are okay with that as the days adventure lived up to our expectations.
